This wedding photo is a shot from the movie "Sex and the City" upcoming in 2008.Sarah Jessica Parker revealed: “I wore black on my wedding day, and I really regret that,” Parker says. “I was too embarrassed to get married in white, and both Matthew and I were reluctant to have people pay so much attention to us. Which is ridiculous, because that’s when you can relish the attention, when it’s natural. We treated it like it was a big party on a Monday night, and I regret it.” So for those of you out there too embarrassed to wear white, don’t. You are the star on your special, relish the attention and don’t worry what other people will say. They’re not the ones getting married, are they? |

Does a woman's ring have to be with a diamond?
No.
A woman's engagement ring can be as expensive or inexpensive as is appropriate to the finances and wishes of the couple.
Engagement
Is a ring necessary?
No. It is not necessary to have an engagement ring in order to be engaged. If you choose not to have an engagement ring, you may want to exchange other engagement gifts or tokens.
Wedding Attendants
Is it necessary to have equal numbers of groomsmen and bridesmaids?
No.
It is ok to have ushers who are not groomsmen, in that they do not stand up with the groomsmen and bridesmaids. This is sometimes a solution when you need more ushers to direct the guests to their seats, but don't want to have twice as many groomsmen as bridesmaids.
